This is a world-leading “Cable – Stay Balanced Tensegrity” pedestrian bridge structure.

Ken Brownjohn was requested by the Queensland Government Department of Public Works to develop a project delivery methodology to ensure an “On Budget” outcome.

The project was completed on time and on budget.

This project received architectural and engineering acclaim, both in Australia and overseas.

The success of this project was attributable, amongst other things, to the contractual arrangement proposed, which solved the problems incurred by the government on similar previous projects.

Despite the complexity, the project was completed under budget.
